Explanation for Change

I decided to rate the teams on wins and losses. The old ratings were based on scoring but a lot of people were a little impatient when a team lost and didn't do as they were expected to even though the old system correctly picked 19 out of 21 games last week. I could show you a couple of games this year that nobody can come up with any method that would explain why they won. There are just days when the good team is down and the lesser team is up and you can't explain the outcome. So I chose this method which should be very accurate even though margins of victory are not included simply because it is not as confusing and doesn't take as long to develop. The problem with the Minor Ratings would have corrected itself in one or two weeks but I decided it's easier to set up a new system than continue to explain why team A was ahead of team B even though the game could have been an upset. So enjoy the new ratings and those who do not like margins of victory because teams might run up the score should be happy even though every game is really 1-0 or 0-1. That's one loss or one win because points don't matter. And, now, the playoffs.
