Ratings Notes
Okay, the teams are all lined up and we're ready to see which is the last team standing. Here is the key to the playoffs. Score more points than all your opponents and you'll be the champion. If you can't be the champion, the second best thing is to upset somebody. I tracked the last three weeks for upsets. Every week there were only two in twenty-four games. But teams change when they get into the playoffs. There will be lots of upsets, I hope. If it weren't for upsets, what would be the point of watching? Last week there was a great matchup in the Major between #10 Burleson 1 and #11 Whitney. Whitney barely got an upset by a score of 18-16. Congratulations. That's a game I would like to see. That's nothing, though, compared to #14 Granbury 2 Minor's walloping of #13 Burleson 1 by a score of 30-0. Where have these guys been hiding? But that's all in the past, now. If you are in the playoffs, your only goal is to beat everybody you play. If you don't, you still had a great time.
